Why It Matters
Ottawa’s NPLC represents a shift toward sustainable, team-based care. By putting Nurse Practitioners at the center of service delivery, it meets patients where they are—culturally, geographically, and medically—while alleviating strain on emergency departments and traditional physician practices. Melicaa is proud to support a model that prioritizes equity, access, and innovation in healthcare.
